Velora Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 10, 2026

Operator name: Velora (provisional). Contact: GronewaldSonger794@outlook.com. The operator identity will be updated when confirmed.

Your Weight Journal

Velora lets you record weight, dates, mood, notes, goals, and up to four photos per entry. The native journal stores entries in a local database, photos in the app's private storage, and goals and unit preferences in device settings. No account is required for the native journal. The View demo preview uses read-only sample entries in memory, separate from your personal journal and goal settings. The native journal code does not upload these entries or photos to a journal server. Device backups may retain app data according to your Apple settings.

Network Connections and Web Experiences

The app requests remote startup configuration over HTTPS and may open a configured web experience. The configuration client sends an empty JSON object ({}); it does not include your journal entries or photos in this request. Network services can receive connection information such as IP address and request metadata. Embedded websites may process information that you submit to them and use their own storage. A bridge provides the web experience with an installation identifier, app version, and available attribution identifiers. Optional web services are subject to their own privacy notices; their operators and data practices remain subject to review. The native journal remains available without granting tracking permission.

Attribution and Tracking

Velora includes Adjust for attribution and event measurement. Initialization depends on remote configuration. When enabled, Adjust may process device identifiers, app and device information, network information, attribution details, and events requested by a web experience. Available attribution fields include campaign, network, ad group, creative, Adjust device identifier (ADID), and advertising identifier (IDFA). When the optional web explanation is shown, Continue closes that page before requesting Apple's App Tracking Transparency authorization; Not now or Close does not request authorization. Access to IDFA requires authorization. Attribution processing without IDFA may still occur when Adjust is enabled. Denying tracking does not mean all operational or attribution data processing stops. See Adjust's privacy policy.

Camera, Photos, and Microphone

You can choose a photo or use the camera to attach snapshots to a journal entry. Access is requested when needed. Microphone access is available only when you choose an audio feature in an embedded web experience; the native journal does not record audio. Camera and microphone access in web experiences requires system permission. You can manage permissions in iOS Settings.

Sharing and Your Choices

Sharing uses the iOS share sheet. Information you send is handled by the recipient or service you select. You can edit or delete entries, remove attached photos, and decline optional permissions. Deleting an entry removes its database record and attempts to remove its attached local photo files. Copies already shared or held in backups are not removed by this action. Tracking permission can be changed in iOS Settings.

Retention and Security

Journal data remains in local app storage until you delete it or remove the app and its data. Offloading an app may preserve its data. Existing backups and shared copies have separate retention rules. The remote-data retention field in this policy is “Not applicable,” a default value rather than a verified statement about server or SDK retention. This does not mean remote services collect no data or delete data immediately. Consult the applicable web-service notice and Adjust policy for their retention practices; these practices remain subject to confirmation. The app uses its private iOS storage and HTTPS for configuration requests; no system can guarantee absolute security.

Children, Privacy Rights, and Contact

Velora is intended for users aged 13 or older and is not intended for children under 13. The intended distribution covers available App Store regions except mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan. These age and distribution values are defaults in this policy. No specific governing jurisdiction is designated; applicable mandatory privacy and consumer rights remain unaffected.

The provisional operator is Velora. Privacy and support contact: GronewaldSonger794@outlook.com. The operator identity will be updated when confirmed. You can manage local journal data within the app. Requests concerning information processed by optional remote services should follow the relevant service’s privacy notice and verified contact procedures. Velora is a personal journal and does not provide medical diagnosis or treatment.

Changes

The operator will update this policy when relevant data practices change and revise the date above.
